#whirlpool_gold_24_inch_gu2400xtp Just bought this model (in stainless steel) last month. It was given a top rated mark in reliability and repair record as well as all around top performer at consumer report's. I am impressed with the way it cleans, especially glassware - comes out sparkling clean and couldn't say that with my fifteen year old dishwasher. Of course it is energy star rated.
Downfalls: 1. A cycle takes forever (about two hours) but my research tells me that is common with the newer and energy efficient models. 2. Seems to me that I can hear this one a bit more than the old one. Maybe my hearing is improving! Again, I have read that this is expected with the newer models.
