Introduced at CES 2009, the MetroFi 170 is an inexpensive earphone by Ultimate Ears. Featuring a single armature driver, up to 16dB of noise isolation, and three sizes of silicon tips, the 170 will be available in February for $50.

A vi model with inline microphone will sell for $10 more. An upgraded version with a titanium coated driver, the MetroFi 220, was released at the same time for $80.
