The Pros:Lasts a fair amount of time before getting worn out. Dogs find the resistance of the material satisfying to chew on, satisfies the dog's natural instincts. Pattern is easy for colorblind dogs to pick up on, makes it more fun to chase it as it rolls.
The Cons:Hard to find the exact version your dog is looking for, pet suppliers don't always restock the same thing. When they wear out they become fairly filthy, hard to get it away from the dog at that point.

#toy_buddies_soccer_ball_latex_squeaky_dog_toy My dog only likes these latex soccer balls and only in white with black hexagons. I thought dogs were color blind. I find the real small ones all over the place, but I need the medium size for my golden retriever girl. She is 11 and loves the balls so much, she constantly carries them around. She has not had one in several months because I can't find them. If anyone can find, please let me know

The latex version is the one I'm looking for. If you know where I can get the original latex version in red, green or blue, please let me know. Wishstar@sbcglobal.net is my email.

I emailed Petco a few weeks ago to inquire and that person said it was discontinued. I asked if they would give me the manufacturer's contact information because I would serously just have them mad myself and I never got a response. Beanie, whp told you it would be back in stock again? Was this a Petco sales clerk in a store?
If anyone hears anything or sees these in their local Petco, PLEASE contact me.

I called Petco today and they told me that the Toy Buddies brand name was recently purchased by Petco, so the balls are or will be available under the Petco lable from now on. Whew! I hope you all can find them and are as relieved as we will be once we go stock up!

It fits into on of those long handles that flings the ball and it is lightweight and easy for any size dog to pick up! They won't run for any other balls. You can't let them sit and chew on it of course as it is not meant for that, it is a hollow latex with a squeaker. I used to get them at Petco but can't get them anymore. I will be sunk as my dogs won't run after anything else! We love them!
