Sonic Rush returns to sonics blazingly fast side scrolling roots. The game is mostly in 2-D, but all of the boss battles are fought in 3-D. Instead of just playing as Sonic, you can also play as newcomer to the series Blaze the Cat.

Both these characters have the same stages to complete, but which ones they get to first is determined by who you pick. The first DS outing for sonic will remind you of his time on the Sega Genesis.
