The Sonic Boom alarm clock doesn't let you do that. The noise level can be set so high - 113 decibels - that it's basically impossible to feel sleepy after hearing it (a lawn mower's volume is around 90 dB and a chainsaw reaches a measly 110 dB). For added sleep resistant devices, it comes with a shaker to put under your mattress for maximum discomfort.

#sonic_boom_love_clock I have an idea for an alarm clock, in the same vein as this (ridiculous) product. You put your arm in a vice overnight, and when you're supposed wake up it breaks your arm. That'll get you up for sure.
