Simplicity S24

$500.00
I looked at Dyson and Kenmore (both built cheaply) and Miele (way too expensive) and a vacuum repair guy suggested Simplicity (which I had never heard of). It is a remarkably well designed, durable vacuum that is a much better buy than most of its competition.

Kim K.: #simplicity_s24 This is a great vacuum and well worth the money! I have 2 dogs that shed horribly and this vacuum sucks it all away. After I vacuum, you can't find a single dog hair! And the hepa bags and filters help with our allergy issues...I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. Nov 19, 10

Anonymous: #simplicity_s24 Issa is exactly right. I too have long hair and have to cut it out of the bar at least 3 times per room. I did this just as much with a 35 dollar vacuum from wal-mart. Time consuming and very annoying. For me, this makes the vacuum price not worth the time spent fixing it over andc over. Also, its extra suction device quits working from time to time which makes it do a much crappier job of sucking things up. Not impressed and if to do again would spend the money on a dyson. Issa: #simplicity_s24 The vacuum works well except for the beater bar. I have really long hair, and it gets caught at each end of the beater bar where there is a slot-like space. This causes bar to freeze, the vacuum belt to slip and is quite annoying. I have to clean/pull the hair out of the vacuum every other time I use it. Huge design flaw, imo.

Everything else about the vacuum works fine. Great suction, easy to change bags, the retractable cord snaps into the vacuum easily, it won't suck up area rugs. Oct 8, 08
