The CMLSX610ML is in the middle of Shimano’s Cumulus series, a medium-light, extra-fast action freshwater rod. It is constructed from HM-1 “High Modulus” graphite, making it light but effective.

It is notable for its use of Fuji Titanium SIC Guides (Fuji’s strongest, yet lightest guides). The Cumulus series is appropriate for finesse applications and would be ideal with a light reel, such as Shimano’s Stradic CI4 to make for an extra light, yet powerful combination.
