Sanuk has developed a unique style of footwear that combines a soft sandal bottom with a protective shoe cap...they call these sandal-shoe hybrids "sidewalk surfers", and claim they are extremely comfortable and functional enough to wear anywhere.

#sanuk_sidewalk_surfers I love my Sanuk Sidewalk Surfers. The are comfortable in the extreme. I miss them everytime I'm forced to wear another shoe. They are loose fitting, but they don't fall off like other sandals. Their soles are cushy without being squishy. I can wear them all day. I got mine at Sundog Trading Company at the Mall of America in Minnesota.
