Pyle Audio PLG69.8

The Pyle Audio PLG69.8 are a pair of 6.0” x 9.0” 8-way coaxial car-audio loudspeakers constructed from a yellow colored poly injected cone. The most powerful 6x9 loudspeaker in the Pyle Audio Gear X series, the PLG69.8 is an upgrade from all previous models, including its immediate predecessor, the PLG69.5.

The PLG69.8 supports a whopping 500w peak power output (versus <=225w) and 250w nominal power output (versus <=200w). The PLG69.8, however, maintains the PLG69.5’s 2” Polymer cone midrange and .5” Neodymium dome tweeter, but contains up to 5 super film tweeters (versus 2). The PLG69.8 also features a hi-temp aluminum voice coil, a 120 oz Magnet structure, a yellow coated steel basket, and a non-fatiguing Butyl rubber surround. The Pyle Audio PLG69.8 is priced at $97.50, only $3.75 greater than the PLG69.5.
