Pioneer HTP-2900
$199.00
Released October, 2001
The Pros:More digital inputs than expected at this price point. Setup is more intuitive than usual for this type of system. Speakers and subwoofer are reasonably compact and fit well in most small-medium sized rooms.
The Cons:Receiver is very large and may not fit all cabinets, buyers should measure beforehand. Volume display adjustment is bizarre, counts backward from -95 to 0, takes some getting used to.
