cheyenne: #perific_ergonomic_mouse HI, I've been using the Perific Wireless Mouse for half a year now, and although I enjoy the freedom the trackball function gives me (no more sitting in the same static position the whole day long!), I am not really satisfied with this products: First the batteries supplied with the Perific Mouse did not charge at all, so we had to buy new ones. The battery cover has refused to stay in place after the third time I have opened it, so now I have fixed it with a piece of tape. But worst of all, the radio communication between mouse and receiver breaks down about every 15 minutes, and I have to press the synchronisation button on the receiver and the very tiny and deep-set button on the bottom of the mouse (better let the fingernail of your pinky grow - you'll need it!) several times to make the cursor move again. Every second day or so the mouse simply refuses to re-connect with the radio receiver, and I have to either restart my work station or plug in my old Logitec mouse (whose radio connection has never ever broken down so far) in order to go on with my work. Well, either I have been sent a real lemon, or the wireless operation of the Perific Mouse is not as mature as the company claims. I will now complain about this problem with Perific, let's see what they make from it... Feb 15, 07
