The Pros:Only player to offer HDMI and video up conversion of video signals at its price point. Finally allows my wife and kids to operate our home theater without having to match input functions on the TV with the receiver. Audyssey room equalization setup feature brings 3D sound to any room.
The Cons:On screen menus are not available through component interface e.g., volume level, DSP mode. Sadly is HDMI ver. 1.1.
The Onkyo TX-SR674 is a 7.1 channel A/V receiver released in 2006. The TX-SR67x line has subsquently been ended in favor of newer receivers supporting HDMI, high-definition audio and video upscaling
