#mongoose_electric_comfort_bike Hello! We've purchased the Mongoose CX24V200 but we're having a terrible time with charging. Nowhere in the manual are step-by-step instructions on how to charge this bike. We know to plug the charger in, plug the charger into the bike, but does the power switch need to be on? Does the plug that connects to the motor need to be plugged in? We've purchased new SLA batteries, thinking that the other ones wouldn't hold a charge anymore but we're having the same result of not being able to charge the batteries. How long does the first charge take?

#mongoose_electric_comfort_bike The heavy weight of this bike is NOT due to the steel construction. It is due to the SLA (sealed lead acid) batteries. There are plenty of bicycles under 20lbs whose frames are constructed of steel. Steel bicycles are close to, if not equal to that of aluminum bicycles tanks to modern steel alloys.
