Linksys WRT350N
$229.00
Released October, 2006
The Pros:Gigabit ethernet connection speeds. Built-in NAS support (attach an external USB drive for network storage).
The Cons:Storage link not *yet* supported by Vista Home Premium 32-bit (maybe fixed in mid-August Vista update). Dropped connections because of encryption.
The Linksys WRT350N features the wireless pre-N protocol claimed to be up to 12 times faster than an equivalent wireless G router. The wireless-N protocol, while improving speed, also increases the range of your wireless network.

This router also functions as a four port gigabit switch.
Linksys has also included a USB storage link to enable networking to an external USB hard drive that doesn't have built-in NAS support. The media server capabilities of this router allow you to stream videos, pictures, music, and other media easily to the rest of your home network.

Omar:
#linksys_wrt350n Damn this thing IS sweet. It's actually not THAT expensive considering that N routers are already in the $150-$200 range, this adds the USB/NAS functionality which is just awesome.

#linksys_wrt350n This looks pretty sweet. I'm intrigued by the storage link/media server feature. It solves the missing NAS problem with external drives like
this. Pretty expensive though.
