Core i5 is a medium range processor line first introduced by Intel in September 2009. Includes Core i5-750, based on 45 nm Lynnfield architecture, Core i5-6xx-series processors which came out in the beginning of 2010, based on 32 nm Clarkdale architecture and including on-chip GPU (graphics processing unit), and Core i5-4xxM, Core i5-5xxM, and Core i5-5xxUM mobile processors, based on 32 nm Arrandale architecture.
