Intel Core i5-2500
$231.35
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Form factor makes installation in socket very intuitive. Heatsink and fan are relatively low-profile compared to older models. Included heatsinks do a good job cooling, runs cooler than specifications.
The Cons:Heat sink detaches from processor too easily. Fan cabling is wrapped rather tight and can prevent fan from reaching top speeds. Somewhat expensive for the onboard HD2000 graphics.
