General Electric GTWP2005MCC
$404.10
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Very inexpensive, great for people on a budget. Extremely easy to work with, controls are all obvious. Good range of load sizes, temperatures and cycles.
The Cons:Rinse cycle doesn't tend to get all of the soap out, clothes don't end up thoroughly rinsed at all. Rinse cycle leaves a lot of water in the clothes when completed, need a lot of time in the dryer. A bit noisy when running, can hear it from the next room.
Part of General Electric's "ExtrAction" series, this 3.4 cu. ft. capacity, top-loading washer offers an increased surface area to extract more water from clothing during the spin cycle, meaning clothes dry faster.
