#coca_cola_blak I am open to just about anything flavor-wise... as a professional chef I taste a lot of foods that take some getting used to, or are just plain strange in texture or taste. But this, the Coca-Cola Blak, was disgusting. I bought a bottle, along with a bottle of regular Coke to back it up just in case, took one sip, and had to finish the entire 20 oz. regular Coke just to get that horrible half-artifically sweetened cola, half over-sweetened coffee taste out from between my teeth and under my tongue. Never again. I shiver just remembering it.

#coca_cola_blak I tried Coca Cola Blak and while I loved the concept I couldn't get into the taste. I understand the whole point about Coca Cola Blak being coffee infused and not coffee flavored, but I thought it would taste different. The coffee to me here was more like an aftertaste than an actual flavor. Also, I don't see how you can justify the high pricetag for these tiny little glass bottles. A single bottle of Coca Cola Blak can sell for up to $1.75. For 25 cents more you can get an iced coffee four or five times the size at Dunkin' Donuts.
I actually lived in the test market for Pepsi Kona when it came out and I liked it better. It may have been an idea before it's time.
And Vanilla Coke was not a failure. They still sell vanilla and cherry vanilla coke here in the US market, along with lemon flavored coke and lime flavored coke. I enjoyed all of those (to the point where I'd always pick diet coke with lemon over regular diet coke), which is probably why, frnakly, I'm so dissappointed in Coca Cola Blak.
