Do not believe the box. Mine definitely can't handle 6 pages at a time; it barely manages 3. It doesn't cross-cut very well if you're doing more than one page at a time. It gets clogged with paper strips and overheats easily. Even if it doesn't clog, it still overheats after about 5-10 minutes of use. Mine just overheated - again - after 5 minutes - apparently that last single receipt from CVS was just too much for it to handle.

I'm going to keep it - mostly because it's a hassle for me to return, and I never intend to build up this much paper that needs shredding again - but I'm only going to do a few pages at a time after this project's done (assuming it survives the process). Buy a better one. Sep 20, 11
