The Pros:Very fast performance, can compete with some of the faster CPUs on the market. Aids in video processing enabling HD video display with no lost frames. Reasonable cost for a new CPU, and good value for one this fast.
The Cons:Need to purchase proper bonding glue for the fan separately. Draws a significant amount of power, not very efficient. Gets pretty hot when used heavily.
The AMD Athlon X2 6000+ is a high end dual core CPU from AMD. Running at 3.2GHz, the CPU has a giant 125W TDP. Far superior for simple every-day tasks, the 6000+ is a good pick for those interested in gaming, encoding or utilizing a great deal of CPU power on a budget.
