The A501's HSPA+ radio allows it to be signed up with an AT&T data plan, allowing it to offer internet access while on the go at speeds much faster than standard 3G networks. Its NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor allows the A501 to handle more demanding apps with an accompanying NVIDIA GeForce GPU allowing it to tackle more graphically intense games with minimal slowdown. Meanwhile, the A501's Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS provides it with a completely tablet-focused user interface meant to take full advantage of the A501's screen real estate as opposed to older, cellphone-centric versions of Android.
