2006 Trek Pilot 1.0

matt5214: #2006_trek_pilot_1_0 I just bought this bike yesterday, and rode to work today. I have an eight mile ride each way in. I was riding my Specialized Hard Rock Comp with high preasure in the tires, but after following some fat guy down the highline canal trail, and fighting to keep up I realized how road bikes are THAT MUCH FASTER. I loved my ride in today. Front derailer is a little flaky, but overall like it very much. Salesmen tried to sell me a 1000 dollar cyclo cross bike because he said I would probably destroy a road bike, but I had the store manager come over while the salemen was gone and tell me that he bunny hops his road bike over curbs all the time. I paid 699.00 here in Colorado. Love it so far! Sep 29, 06
